Have a slightly !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! with a Carmax warranty for <$70k or
a new !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for about the same price?
Decisions.. If you're wondering, you saved yourself $22k in depreciation on that Jag.

I'll go with the supercharged 5.0 v8!

The Jag, no doubt. They're so good looking.

Definitely the jag. Depreciation and warranty = yay.
An older CTS-V with enough left over for mods would be the best choice though.

Jag. Unbeatable interior. Best color (because it hides the D-pillars). V8. Warranty.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

I absolutely love the new V-Sport.
But I love the XJ supercharged a tiny bit more. That brown interior seals the deal. So. Classy.

No, probably only GM loyalists or people still salty over the Revolutionary War would.

Jag. I need a supervillain car anyway.

Jaaaag. Only because black over brown with supercharged 5.0 and CarMax warranty. If it wasn't for those colors that warranty, it would be a CTS no doubt.
But, the Jag would be an expensive moneypit after the warranty went kaput. The CTS will most likely chug on for years and years without any huge problems.
If I'm keeping short term (however long the warranty is) then the Jag. If I'm keeping long term, the CTS.

I'm curious to see how much the newer CTS depreciates. I wouldn't classify the CTS as bullet proof, the first model year for the 2nd gen was plagued with problems. With their move up market, I'm sure there will be some growing pains.
I feel like the only thing in terms of cost to own separating Jags from Cadillacs are really parts cost and the higher labor rate a Jag dealers. Newer Jags really aren't that bad, but they will never shake that money pit stigma.

Come on, of course the Jag - as long as its under warranty, of course. Black is the color to get too, those stupid black plastic pieces on the D-pillars are the only awkward part of the entire design, and that hides them.

Jag. Yup the Jag.

I'm only judging based on the fact that GM shoves that 3.6L V6 into everything that they offers a V6 and the only cars that really ever had problems with it were the early 2nd-gen CTS an Lambda crossovers. The twin turbos might do something to it, but it's too early to tell.

Kind of reminds me of the used SHOs and Mks Ecoboosts I see on craigslist sometimes: Turbos replaced 5k miles ago
Just another component to worry about I guess.

Ill be that guy. Give me the turbos. It feels wrong to drive a foreign car when such a nice American car is right there. Plus mag ride and cheap/easy tuning options on the Cad.
